What will I take away from the Introduction to Equality and Bullying Awareness training?

This training is designed to provide participants with a foundation in basic concepts of gender and equal treatment and opportunities. The training will begin by explaining the differences between the concepts of sex, gender and sexual orientation and how these concepts are associated with unequal and/or discriminatory treatment. Subsequently, we will talk about the social mechanisms that maintain discrimination, as well as the prejudices and gender roles that are set by our environment.

On the other hand, the course includes an awareness of workplace, sexual and gender-based harassment, aimed at differentiating these three types of harassment and learning how to detect them in the workplace. The training will be aimed at preventing the appearance of this risk and learning how to act quickly and effectively, avoiding more serious consequences.

She holds a degree in Psychology and specializes in Work, Organizational, and Human Resources Psychology, as well as in the application of Positive Psychology in the workplace.

She has specific training in gender perspective, as well as in topics such as inclusive language, gender and health, equal opportunity interventions, and gender perspective in sociology.

Currently, her professional career incorporates a gender perspective into the study of psychosocial risks and interventions with organizations. She is also a researcher in the GeST (Gender, Health, and Work) group at the Jaume I University of Castellón.

Gender Equality Promotion Technician, with specific training in Equal Opportunities for practical application in social services and equality policies for companies.

She also has training in the implementation of techniques and resources for groups with special educational needs.

She currently works on developing equal opportunity training and is involved in the development and implementation of various courses based on inclusion and a gender perspective.
