What am I going to take away from the Equality Commission course??

The creation of an Equality Commission is a fundamental part of the conception and execution of an Equality Plan. This is not only due to the legal obligation it implies, but also to its crucial role in supervising the Equality Plan and representing the interests of both the entity and its employees.

This course aims to develop the essential skills, abilities and knowledge so that the members of the Commission can fulfill their functions adequately.

An exhaustive analysis of all legislation related to equality will be carried out, especially that which governs Equality Plans, both at European and state level. Additionally, through simulation and situation assessment approaches, training will be provided to participants on the tasks, commitments and responsibilities of the Equality Commission.

Methodology

Gamification

In our courses, we focus on gamification, complementing theoretical training with fun activities that help consolidate knowledge.

Group work

Both the in-person and online methods involve teamwork with role-playing dynamics, case studies, dramatizations, and role-playing games.

Real cases

We work with real-life cases and practice all the exercises, facilitating the transfer of what has been learned to the professional's daily life.

Faculty

She holds a degree in Psychology and specializes in Work, Organizational, and Human Resources Psychology, as well as in the application of Positive Psychology in the workplace.

She has specific training in gender perspective, as well as in topics such as inclusive language, gender and health, equal opportunity interventions, and gender perspective in sociology.

Currently, her professional career incorporates a gender perspective into the study of psychosocial risks and interventions with organizations. She is also a researcher in the GeST (Gender, Health, and Work) group at the Jaume I University of Castellón.
